With just a few days left in April 2025, we make one more move toward Moab, leaving Kanab, Utah, a day earlier than planned because we had already accomplished our national park checklist. After some amazing off-roading time with friends in Hurricane over the last two weeks, we repositioned further southeast in Kanab, Utah. After Las Vegas, continued northeast up I-15 to the Hurricane and St. George area ultimately for another Escapees Jeepers BOF event. What we did not know is that we would be spending two weeks right next door to some other full-timing RV friends from Florida who have made the area their new domicile. We may have a new favorite national park now! In this blog post, an Escapees Off-Roading HOP adventure in Moab was our final spring 2023 destination before returning to Wisconsin. While the event itself was only 4 days, we were in Moab for a total of 14 and were able to get out on many trails. There had been talk for years that trails would be closed by the Bureau of Land Management and since we were there some of these trails are indeed now closed.
