Fall 2024 – Up and Over to Maine

    April 29, 2025
We reached the peak at one of the windiest and foggiest places on Earth—Mount Washington, New Hampshire—where wind speeds once hit 231 mph! Unfortunately, rough seas canceled ferries to Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Instead, we made the most of it and fully enjoyed our time exploring Maine!Read More »

There is a small window of time during the summer that the passes in Colorado are open for offroading and we were able to hit that! We had a great time, a really challenging trail that ultimately caused a few bruises on the Jeep that needed to be fixed, and we did not leave Colorado without damage to the motorhome because of a freak windstorm just west of Monarch Pass. We positioned ourselves just North of the area of totality and met up with friends and family to experience the eclipse together. Afterward, we made our final push back to Wisconsin and Minnesota for the summer.Read More »

We took a gamble with an Army Corps of Engineers campground having decent cellular service for the week. Fulton's COE campground is an amazing find in a quaint little town.Read More »
